24 Hour Risk-Free Cancellation:
As part of our customer commitment, we offer a 24-hour risk-free cancellation policy which means that after you've placed your order, you have up to 24 hours to cancel for any reason and receive a full refund. No fees. No questions. 100% of the payment refunded back to the original payment method.
Cancellation requests must be made by 11:59 p.m. the day after the order is placed. For example if an order is placed on Monday, you have until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday to cancel the order. Requests must be made over the phone to 847-373-6925 or via email to info@thepggames.com. We will not accept a text or social media message. Our system will not accept a request based on this.
*24 Hour Risk-Free Cancellation Policy is only available for orders placed online.
CANCELLATION POLICY: All reservations require a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit in advance of the event. You may cancel your reservation, however, your deposit is non-refundable except in situations of our 24 Hour Risk-Free Cancellation. Deposits are 25% of the total cost of your invoice for events under $1,000.00, and 50% of the total cost of your invoice for events over $1,000.00.
The remaining balance of your invoice is due fourteen (14) days prior to your event date.
Cancellations processed outside fourteen (14) days of the rental period for any reason will result in the issuance of a "raincheck" or customer credit equal to the deposit required to book the event. If payments have been received that are higher than the deposit required to book the event, the excess will be refunded back to the original payment method. All cash payments will be refunded via check. Customers rain check will be equal to the amount paid for their order and made available for 1 year (365 days).
For orders canceled within 14 days of the event date, the total amounts paid will be forfeit unless cancellation is due to inclement weather conditions - see below.
-If you cancel 4 or more days prior to your reservation and have paid in full, we will apply the value to a new date within 1 calendar year (365 days) of your original event date.

Yes. We use the safest designs made by reputable manufacturers. All of our inflatable rides pass the State of Illinois mandatory ride inspection. Each inflatable is cleaned and disinfected between rentals. They are inspected onsite to ensure they are safe and ready.
Yes and a great question to ask any inflatable rental business. If they do not, stay away! PlayGround Games is fully insured and inspected. We can provide a copy of the insurance policy upon request. For private clients, you may ask to be named additionally insured on our policy for a $50 fee. The lessee or customer shall be in charge of monitoring each unit, unless specified otherwise. PlayGround Games is not responsible for any injuries occurring to those using the rental equipment. As always, use at your own risk.

For your convenience, the fastest way to reserve your party or event equipment is through our website www.thepggames.com. Please make your reservations as soon as possible. All of our Rides and Games are very popular and often booked weeks and even months in advance. The sooner you call, the more likely you are to be able to obtain the item you want. Once an item is booked we will not be able to offer that item to someone else.
The first thing you should do is measure your space the inflatable will be as well as the entrance to get the unit to its intended location. Make sure you know where you want your inflatable rental and make sure there is enough room. Second step make sure your outside plug is working. Plug something in ahead of time to test it. We need electricity within 50 feet of the inflatable (25 feet for concessions and games). The third step is mow your lawn the day before, not the same day or the morning of set up. It will help keep the moonwalk clean for your kids enjoyment. Fourth, if you have a dog please clean the yard of any waste before we come. It will help to keep odors away while your kids are jumping, and will prevent any soiling of our unit(s). If you have a waterslide rental, don't water your lawn for a few days before your party. Waterslides use a lot of water, and if your grass needs it, it will absorb it a lot better if it is dry. PlayGround Games reserves the right to not deliver if these steps have not been follow and attempt redelivery at a later time.

Yes, our price includes set up and take down. Although additional fees may apply for areas farther from our warehouse. We do offer FREE delivey within 5 miles of our Vernon Hills based warehouse. Additional fees can be assessed for more difficult installations. Our delivery/pick up schedule hours range from 6 am to 11 pm to make sure we can get out all the equipment to all of our amazing customers. For early and late drop offs/pick ups additional arrangements will be required.
Of course not! We arrive early to set up so you get the entire rental time to play.
Yes. For delivery to most areas in our region the minimum order amount is $185.00. If your items ordered do not meet the minimum you may select to pay the difference to the minimum, upgrade your order, or simply add something else super fun to your cart.

Yes we do. For 7% of your rental fee we will waive any accidental damage that happens to our equipment during your rental excluding intentional damage or theft. The exclusion includes Silly String, permanent marker and cleaning fees as well.
Ride loading varies by rider's size and age, equipment size, type, and manufacturer. Some inflatables can safely handle more participants than others. General guidelines can be provided by our knowledgeable customer service team. In general, inflatable slides and interactive games allow one to two guests at a time. Most inflatable rides can safely hold between 4 and 10 guests depending on the size of the unit and the ages of the riders. Safety recommendations and rules for operation will be provided to you at the time of delivery. Each ride has safety information located on the exterior of the ride and is the definitive source for identifying the safe operation of the ride. Adult supervision is required for the safe operation of any inflatable unit. The standard bounce houses and units with "Kid" in their title are not recommended for adults. However, the interactive, giant slides and larger obstacle courses are great fun for teens and adults. Check the rules printed on the front of each inflatable for details.
That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive 1-3 hours before the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours in advance. If this is the case, we will call a day or two before to confirm that someone will be at the party location. Our delivery schedule hours range from 6 am to 11 pm to make sure we can get out all the equipment to all of our amazing customers. For early and late drop offs/pick ups additional arrangements will be required. If we deliver your items early you receive free play time as you will only be charged for your rental time.
Absolutely not. PlayGround Games continually purchases inflatables with the newest safety features. We search for manufacturers that construct with quality and safety in mind. All of our units are constructed from commercial-grade materials with double stitching. All of the materials are fire retardant. The windows of the bounces are made of specially designed mesh netting, which allows for easy viewing and minimizes the chances of getting entangled.
All of our inflatables are cleaned and inspected after every rental and are routinely completely disinfected. We are committed to making sure that your children are playing in a clean, healthy, and safe environment.

We cannot guarantee that the equipment will not affect your lawn. In most cases, it will only temporarily flatten the grass, which should recover in a day or two. When renting a waterslide, damage can occur to the lawn in the area around the slide itself. This is primarily the result of water getting under the tarp and a high amount of foot traffic in one concentrated area.

Yes. A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate and become unsafe. If someone were to jump on a deflating or deflated jump they could hit the ground. That's why we require an outlet within 50ft of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords. Only use PlayGround Games cords. Never use a house hold plug or cord, they are not heavy duty enough.

Interrupted power is the primary source of inflatable failures. Should the blowers provided to you stop working, immediately remove the children playing in or on it. Then check the circuit breaker to see if it has tripped. If the circuit breaker has tripped, try to identify and isolate any other equipment from the circuit before resetting the breaker.

Our inflatable rides and games are inflated using a fully enclosed electric blower unit that is powered by a standard 110 volt, 20 AMP, three-prong electrical outlet. Each blower draws roughly 9-10 Amps (1,000-1,100w) and some larger units use multiple blowers. Electricity is needed within 50 feet of the inflatable. These motors run constantly to keep the unit inflated so constant ample power will be required.

We have listed most park departments as "additionally insured" on our general liability policy so that we are already on their approved vendor list. Client is responsible for reservation and any fees associated.

Though it may be possible to run two blowers off a 20 amp circuit, it is recommended to have only 1 blower per circuit. Even though there may be multiple outlets, they may be on the same circuit thereby sharing that circuit's limited power availability. Additionally, without prior knowledge the outlet may be less than 20 amps. Play it safe, because if you pop a circuit breaker at a park, there may be no park staff available to reset it during your event. See Power Needed above for more details like requirements for generators if needed. We love setting up at parks but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you must rent a generator. We rent generators at a very reasonable cost. Also, parks are first come, first serve so get your spot early in the day. The customer is responsible for obtaining proper permission and/or permits for equipment rented and placed in parks or other public locations. If proof of insurance is required, please allow 2-3 business days for processing requests. There will be a small fee of $10 for acquiring proof of insurance faster than 48 hrs.

Site Access: There must be a clear access route from our vehicle to your site (3ft min width for bounce houses, 4ft for larger units). Stairs, steep banks, landscaping, fences or obstructed pathway can cause delays or possibly prevent equipment setup altogether.

Pet droppings, debris and any objects that may interfere with the use of, or cause damage to, the rental equipment must be removed. Please rake recently mown grass. Our crew will not clean or prepare the site.
Ground Surface: Grass is best, but hard surfaces like concrete may work too. Dirt or rocky soils are not acceptable and will be assessed a minimum $100 cleaning fee if used. The ground surface choice may not be changed once our crew is dispatched as specific materials are required for each ground surface type and may prevent setup of the equipment. Stakes will be used in grass unless otherwise specified. For your safety, once the unit is setup it may not be moved.

The rental cost does NOT include an operator unless specified. Customers are to provide adult supervision or, for an additional fee, our crew may be hired to monitor the equipment or supervise the event. During the ordering process you may see "Attendants: 1" on an item's page. This is to inform you how many people are required to monitor that unit--NOT how many we will provide.
For payments we accept credit cards (MC, V, AMEX, DISC) and business checks. For online orders we only accept payments using these credit cards. A check must clear a minimum of 7 business days before your event date. Our drivers do not carry cash, so we cannot receive any payments using this method. All deposits/payments are due and expected at the time of signing our online contract. All orders require a 25% credit card or check deposit. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your event date. If the bank returns a check unpaid, the Lessee must pay with a cash, the amount of the check, plus a $25.00 fee to PlayGround Games address within two days. Unpaid checks will be referred to an attorney for collection with additional $50.00 cost plus any and all legal fees incurred collecting said unpaid checks.
Check the requirements listed with each jump. Also, make sure you have at least a 4ft access to the area where it will be set up. The jumps can weigh up to 650 pounds so we need a clear path with ample room.
If possible, all inflatables and tents should be staked in the ground for safety. We can set up on grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, turf, inside play surfaces, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can't set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps. If staking is not possible, weights will be required in the place of stakes. Set-up location and conditions are the responsibility of the customer and must be identified upon placing a rental reservation and cannot be modified once the driver has left our warehouse. PlayGround Games is not responsible for damage to underground cabling and/or utilities including irrigation systems. JULIE can be requested to your property in advance of your event. We highly recommend this to be done a minimum of 3-4 days in advance. if you have any concerns or questions. They can be reached by calling 1-800-892-0123.
If you believe the service level warrants a tip, it would certainly be appreciated by these hard-working team members that often work long hours in challenging conditions. However, tipping is not required.

Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of years of use. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation and repair it on site, or bring you a different unit. We inspect every unit before it goes out, but it is a possibility to happen. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc. which can cost thousands of dollars. We don't want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
