A: Yes, although additional fees may apply for areas farther out. All orders under $250 will incur a minimum $50 delivery fee and will be scheduled on a case by case basis.
A: No. We arrive early to set up so you get the entire rental time to play.
A: That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive 1-3 hours before the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours in advance. If this is the case, we will call the Friday before to confirm that someone will be at the party location.
A: No. The jump should be clean when you get it. [company name] cleans and disinfects after every rental.
A: Yes. A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That's why we require an outlet within 50´ of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords.
A: We love setting up at parks but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you must rent a generator. We rent generators at a reasonable cost. Also, parks are first come, first serve so get your spot early in the day.
A: For payments we accept credit cards (MC, V, AMEX, DISC), checks, and Chase quick pay. A check must clear a minimum of 7 business days before your event date. Our drivers do not carry cash, so we cannot receive any payments using this method.
A: You may cancel your reservation, however, your deposit is non-refundable. Deposits are 25% for events under $1,000.00 and 50% for events over $1,000.00.
-If you cancel within 0-3 days of your reservation, your deposit is non-refundable.
-If you cancel 4 or more days prior to your reservation, we will apply the deposit to a new date within the same calendar year.
-Once the delivery truck leaves our warehouse, you are responsible for any remaining payments. No exceptions and no rescheduling events.
-Cancellations due to weather are to be determined the morning of your event by or before 6am. This must be done before we leave the warehouse.
A: Yes all orders require a full Credit Card deposit if they are under $1,000.00. For orders over $1,000.00, a down payment of 50% is due at the time of signing and the remaining balance is due 14 days before your event date.
A: The morning of your event, we monitor the weather using www.weather.com. If you decide to cancel your event, it must be prior to our truck leaving the warehouse. You MUST call us before 6am, the morning of your event, to cancel and to receive any type of refund/credit. Please note, we MUST keep safety in mind at all times, so PlayGround Games reserves the right to cancel your rental due to inclement weather at any time.
If there is a 50% or greater chance for rain during the scheduled time of your event, you may cancel or reschedule your event between 6am the morning of the scheduled delivery. However, if the forecast is calling for scattered showers, we recommend you continue with your scheduled delivery.
Inflatables cannot be used in winds exceeding 20mph (15 mph for some items). If the forecast is for high winds, we will call to cancel/reschedule your rental. You will be able to receive a full refund if PlayGround Games cancels your event due to safety and use the credit towards a future date in the same calendar year.
All inflatables can be used in a wide range of temperatures. If the temperature is expected to fall below 32 degrees, at any time during your event, we will call the morning of your event to cancel/reschedule your delivery. You will be able to receive a full refund or use it toward a future date in the same calendar year. Keep in mind, any temperature above this, the children’s activity will keep them very warm, and we recommend you continue as scheduled. Deposits will not be refunded for temperature cancellations above 32 degrees.
A: Most of our jumps (all of our character jumps for example) are 15´x15´ which is a little bigger than many companies rent. Please note the space required for each jump (listed near the large picture) as some are VERY big and require extra space. When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit. Jumps need room to be staked and they need room for the blower and can't rub against walls or trees as this may damage the jump. The sizes listed with each jump include the space needed for stakes etc. If you have stairs or a tiered backyard, please call our office to discuss options for setup.
A: Check the requirements listed with each jump. Also, make sure you have at least a 4´ access to the area where it will be set up. The jumps can weigh up to 650 pounds so we need a clear path with ample room.
A: We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can't set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.
A: Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you've ordered or you may contact our office.
A: Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don't want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
